With 12 girls gone, can the 13th be saved? Serial killer, the Wraith is notorious and needs to be stopped. Dee, had a traumatic childhood, being victim to a crime which led to time in a mental hospital. She is now trying to adjust to a normal life, when she decides to do her own sleuthing to determine who the Wraith actually is.
An interesting and refreshingly different plot keeps you entertained, filled with plenty of twists.

FBI Agent Susan Parker is currently on suspended leave after a physical outburst at a suspect last year. However, she receives a call from a local officer at remote farm location advising she needs to see what he has found. The crime scene is a dead psychiatrist and a basement full of catatonic captives, and a note with her name on. It links to the Splinter serial killer case she was working on before her episode. She knows she won’t be welcomed on the case, but soon links to her husbands recent ‘suicide’ become linked to this case and she can’t let go.
A gripping police procedural introducing some strong characters. The conclusion was rather satisfying and unexpected. Definitely recommended to any crime fan and hope there is more instalments from Agent Parker to come.

Jude is shocked when her mother, in her 70s with a strained personal relationship, is accused of an alleged historical sexual assault on a volunteer at her stables. To top it all, the person accusing her mother, is now entangled in Jude’s life and is torn with her loyalties. Things go from bad to worse when Jude is then accused of murder. She needs her mothers help more than ever, but will she give it?
A shocking plot but didn’t hold my attention well which led to some confusion over plots aspects and perspectives the story was being told from.

Leah is getting on with her life, it has been 25 years since the sleepover where 3 of her friends disappeared. She hasn’t told anyone she now knows the truth on that fateful night. However, 25 years later it is all brought back when a school associate calls her asking her for company as her son and his friends who were camping in the farm, have all disappeared.
The sequel in the series doesn’t disappoint, and as the story unravels, Leah finds out the shocking truth and a twist you won’t see coming. A masterfully written piece and just as enjoyable a the first story. Any fan of Kerry Wilkinson will not be disappointed with this latest read. Top marks!

Kass has recently become engaged to Murray, and before she knows it, his parents are throwing them an engagement party. Kass doesn’t know much about Murray’s family and not met them before. Some friends and family are more welcoming than others. The celebrations soon turn to chaos when a guest is found murdered and soon the accusations start flying and family secrets revealed.
An entertaining but not very gripping storyline. A lot of naivety and far fetched aspects of the story failed to keep the suspense alive and then had quite an abrupt ending. The narrator was easy to listen to.

An epic read. FBI agent Beth Katz is relocated to quiet rural town of Rattlesnake Creek against her wishes. She is assigned to work with local agent Dax Styles on a murder case where a young girl has been found in the woodlands and her friend is missing. It turns out similar cases have taken place in neighbouring towns. The clock is ticking to solve the murder and what has happened to the missing girls. Beth also harbours a dark secret, serving up her own form of justice to criminals.
A gripping start to what will hopefully become a great series. Beth and Dax are both strong characters and mavericks in their own way but bond well. Recommend read.
