Last updated on 20 Feb 2021Kate Marshall finds a body of a teenager while for diving in Shadow Sands reservoir. She is later contacted by his mother asking for her assistance as the police have ruled it an accident all too quickly. Kate and colleague, Tristan starts asking questions and is soon warned off by a local with a shotgun. Tristans new acquaintance, Magdalena suddenly goes missing at the same time a lot of historical suspicious deaths in the reservoir are unearthed. Kate and Tristan need to work out what’s going on with the reservoir deaths and find Magdalena before it’s too late. The police do not seem to be doing their best to help on either case.
A new author to me, but look forward to reading more. Enjoyed the pace and narrative of this book.
