My Recommendation

 

One word for this book…WOW!  Caroline Mitchell has surpassed expectations with this latest book.
A groups of teenagers have gone to the abandoned Blackhall Manor to play the Midnight Game, where they invite the Midnight Man in and try to avoid being killed before 3.33a.m..  Meanwhile, DC Sarah Noble is returning to work after a leave of absence, and the case takes a personal twist.  During the case, Sarah resurrects some childhood friendships, all have secrets from the past.
A real gripping storyline, the characters have such depth and hooks about their past to keep you wanting to know more.  A brilliant read and highly recommended.
