My Recommendation

 

Janie and Max have a newborn, Freya.  Janie is struggling with new motherhood, but Max is really supportive.  One night he promises to take over the feeding, but in the night Freya is crying and Max is nowhere to be found.  After speaking to Max’s parents, Max has form in disappearing.  Next, the police are looking for Max in connection to a woman murdered at a bar and her child has been kidnapped.
Janie is determined to find out what has happened to Max and how he is connected in all this.
A fast paced, enjoyable read.  You really warmed to the characters which were well developed.
