Last updated on 08 Dec 2021Sam and Lauren should be enjoying the honeymoon period after getting married 3 months earlier, however Lauren is found dead at the bottom of the stairs and now the police are not looking at this as an accident. Sams mum, Georgie and Lauren’s family, Helen, Tom and sister Kate are all devastated. When Sam gets arrested, Georgie fights to prove his innocence. Helen falls apart and turns to drink. Lauren’s friend, Sadie acts suspiciously but not is all as it seems.
A gripping thriller that’s keeps you guessing until the end. I really enjoyed this book and looking forward to reading more by Sue Watson.
